Klarna
Summary: joseph_80650 is seeking assistance with using Klarna payment options on eBay for an item with a 'Best Offer' option. They entered an offer but were informed that a debit card would be charged if the offer was accepted. The seller was unable to confirm if Klarna could be used. Klarna is available only for full payment, leading joseph_80650 to want to speak with an eBay representative but encountering difficulty reaching one by phone.
When I entered, but did not submit, an Offer amount for an item on eBay (the seller has "or Best Offer" under the asking price), on the next page it said that my method of payment (a debit card) would be charged the total amount (my Offer amount plus tax and shipping fees) if the seller accepted my Offer. No Klarna payment options were shown to me. I then messaged the seller asking him if I can have Klarna payment options available to me if he accepted my Offer. I I did include my Offer amount in the message to him. He replied that he doesn't know whether or not Klarna payment options can be available to me if he accepted my Offer).
Klarna does give me a couple of payment plan options if I pay for this particular item IN FULL (the seller's asking price plus tax and shipping fees). Can you help me with this matter?
I'd like to talk to an eBay representative about this on the phone, but when I dial 866-540-3229,
I'm unable to get a LIVE representative to talk to.

If that Seller has their account set up to require that their Buyers have a payment method on file before they can make an Offer, then you cannot use Klarna for that purchase.
