Just Want To Vent
I like how ebay is now forcing sellers to offer returns. Even on used items. So I sold an item and had it listed with free shipping (which all buyers look for). The buyer decided almost a month later that they 'Just didn't like it' and started a return. The buyer had to pay for return shipping, but after I was forced to issue the refund, I'm out the original shipping cost. I can see if the item was defective or not as described, but they just didn't like it. Ebay is and never has been seller-friendly IMO.

-I have been offering 30 day Free returns since they started offering it as a return policy option. I charge for outbound shipping and Sellers who don't do that are at risk for losing more money on a returned transaction because some of eBay's Seller protections would let them deduct the original shipping a Buyer paid for a remorse return like "just didn't like it".
-Additionally, Seller Protections (link to follow) may also let the Seller deduct up to 50% of the original sold item price depending on what is returned, or it's returned condition or if a Buyer ships back junk instead of the purchased item. Seller protections | eBay
-My return rate is fairly low so offering 30 day Free returns did not send returns through the roof like many Sellers fear if they use that return policy.
