On Monday I spoke with an eBay customer service agent about libelous statements posted by a seller to my feedback profile. This is posted five separate times, by the vendor, once for each item number in my orders:

I have gone into great detail on this board multiple times, and when speaking with the eBay agent on Monday, about this seller’s nasty behavior. After reviewing the issues, and talking with her supervisor, the agent assured me that the posts are in clear violation of eBay’s policies (one of which prohibits sellers from posting negative feedback with a + rating) and I was assured that this libelous crap would be removed within 24 to 72 hours.
We are now way past that time frame, and this nasty seller continues to openly defame me. It saddens me that eBay is providing the public platform for them to do so! Shame on eBay for not acting in a more responsible manner! JUST FOLLOW YOUR OWN POLICY and do the right thing!

I know you have posted this issue on the Mentor Board multiple times and many of us have responded that it is past the deadline for removal per the eBay policy.
Recently, one of our fellow Mentors did escalate this for you to eBay staff. That staff person confirmed that, per eBay feedback removal policy, it is past the 90 day deadline and the feedback cannot be removed.
To confirm then, the feedback cannot be removed because it is past the deadline to request that.
The feedback removal policy no longer applies because of that deadline.

MentorAug 15, 2026 at 4:12 PMThose comments were posted during the past YEAR. Too late for ebay to remove them. You should have reported the policy violation within the month it was posted, and possibly a bit later as well.

OP3 weeks agoTheir policy states that sellers posting negative feedback with + ratings will not be allowed, and that they will remove such posts. It doesn’t say “if requested” by the victim. In my case, I have already spoken with an eBay customer service agent who reviewed my information, consulted with her supervisor, then assured me the feedback would be removed withing 72 hours.
