July 31, 2025 UPS delivered my package to an unknown address
I posted the information yesterday after getting off the phone to UPS. My ebay order was not shipped to my address on file with ebay but to an erroneous name/address that they themselves recognized as scam. I was advised by someone here that unless I got a letter in writing (not an email), ebay would not retrieve my lost money scammed in this case. I now just got off the phone with UPS again requesting the name/address that the package was delivered to be sent to me in writing and they said they cannot do that. They also, readily stated this is a scam. I have also filed a case with my credit card since it looks like ebay has sided with the seller in my case. Earlier today ebay refused to refund my money and closed the case I guess I opened when I requested a refund. I did file an appeal to ebay & hopefully (since hope is all I have at this point) logic will prevail & outright theft will not be tolerated at ebay. Ebay has become one of my first options for shopping. It no longer will be even a thought. My pocket book cannot afford this type of shopping experience.
