Japan import VIN olissue

Question

Hi, can anybody guide me in posting on eBay motors a Japanese import SUV with the VIN that's not long enough. It won't let me finish the listing. It shows Vin is not long enough how can I bypass this issue. Any help would be appreciated

Is your vehicle pre-1980, not originally made for street use, or manufactured outside of North America?

If so, it may have a "non-standard" VIN

If you entered the correct VIN and itâ€™s still rejected, follow these steps:

- In the listing form, select the vehicleâ€™s year from the Year drop-down menu.
- Enter 17 zeros in the VIN field. Seventeen 0
- In the item description, you must enter the following information or the listing may be removed:
-- The vehicleâ€™s actual VIN
-- The reason you listed your vehicle using all of the same number in your VIN
- AND include a clear photo of the VIN plate in the auction.
