eBay has a 30-day Money Back Guarantee for Buyer Purchase Protection. That Guarantee overrides an individual Seller's return policy. The Guarantee covers your purchase for up to 30 days from delivery.

Go to this transaction and open an Item Not as Described refund request. You will be asked to submit a photo of the damage. Once the Seller receives that request, they have three business days to respond with a full refund. The Seller may or may not require that you return the item. If they do, they need to provide you with a prepaid return label.

If the Seller does not respond to your request on time, on the 4th day go back to your request and ask eBay to step in and force the refund.

Do not let the Seller convince you to close your request while they file an insurance claim. That's not how this works.
