I've been unable to leave feedback, because I bought using a Guest account
I had an old eBay login that didn't work, so I logged in as a Guest and purchased a pair of shoes from a relatively new seller (late 2024, 56 items sold, 21 positive reviews). I ordered a size 8 1/2; the seller sent a 9. For some reason, eBay was unable to get a return label to me (having to do with ordering through a guest account). At first, I was unable to communicate with the seller as well, until I finally created a personal login account. I still could not get the return label and the seller would not email it to me directly. (If this all sounds preposterous, it is—but it’s also true.) In the end, eBay refunded my money and told me to keep the shoes that don’t fit. I’d like to provide feedback so that other potential buyers know the seller is questionable. It looks like I can’t do that, because the purchase does not show up on my new login account (since I bought it on a guest account). Is that correct?

Mentor1 year agoIn order to get the shipping label you would have had to sign out of your current eBay account, then use the order details link in the email that eBay sent regarding the guest order. The link would not work of you were signed in to an eBay account.

That's correct, you can't leave feedback when you buy as a guest.
I am glad you got your refund.
