Mentor2 years agoIt looks like you may have accidently chosen your response as a best answer. I have reported it and it should be removed. In the meantime, go to your purchase history and find the eBay item number. Click on the item and the item number is halfway down, looking like this: eBay item number:124934104948

OP2 years agoThe listing has ended according to ebay, although it is still in my cart. It wouldn't let me pay. Ebay (on phone) said that it was because the seller had not provided shipping cost and updated the cost. Item was $45,000.

Mentor2 years agoI cannot find the listing either ... even removing the space in the Item Number. I am so sorry you were dealing with so much money.
If you can still access the listing ... can you copy & paste the URL address here? What kind of item was it?

OP2 years agoIt was a Bobcat skidsteer. Ebay says the item is no longer available. I only have the picture.

OP2 years agoGot an email saying this has a solution (?). I got scammed by an ebay seller and have gotten no support from ebay.

You can submit a request for BEPP Reimbursement Request by clicking the blue button on the linked page.
eBay does have a new method where buyers can pay a wire transfer through eBay and NOT directly to the seller for SELECT categories. I hope this is what you did. There is a video about it on this page>

I am so sorry to hear that you were the victim of a SCAM.
Was this through an Ebay listing? Do you have an item # or link to the listing page?
Wiring funds is only accepted in very few categories.

OP2 years agoYes, through an ebay listing. Seller asked that I wire funds to them directly. I refused. They sent me an ebay invoice with bank information to which I wired funds.

I'm afraid you were tricked into sending money directly to the seller. 'eBay Commerce' is how a payment to an eBay seller appears on your credit or debit card statement. You likely sent money directly to a seller's personal checking account.
Do you have an Item Number for the purchase?

I'm so sorry that happened. Why did you wire funds to the seller? That is NOT one of the accepted payment methods that are shown in listings. There is no way to get your money back when you wire it to a personal account.
