I've been ripped off
made purchase Oct. 15th, received no confirmation of purchase or tracking info yet my card was charged. no way to make contact.

On eBay, when a purchase is made, the buyer's payment method is charged, and the buyer should receive confirmation of the sale directly from eBay. The seller is not required to confirm or provide tracking, though many sellers will do so as a matter of good customer service.
If the item does not arrive by the last estimated delivery date, the next day the buyer can file an "item not received" case, at which point the seller will have three business days to provide tracking that shows delivery or else refund the buyer. At that point, the buyer can ask eBay to step in and force a refund for up to twenty-one business days from starting the "item not received" case before eBay closes the case without a refund automatically.
If you need to contact the seller, there should be a contact link to reach the seller from the entry in your Purchase History or from the listing itself.
