Items returned damaged
sold two cameras without batteries but with an AV cord they were JVC mini mini cams older vintage ones, in the description and in the pictures they were depicted as working as plain tapes recording everything, they were just being sold without batteries cuz I didn't have any batteries, buy your messages me before buying to make sure that they work, I send him another video I sent him a couple pictures and show see look everything works playback record not record but play back and everything worked fine because I had one tape that I'm sold it with it so I sent him everything, he puts on some faulty batteries and either the faulty batteries or him putting the batteries on trying to play his own tapes while having the ad cord plugged in at the same time it triggered the camera into a shutdown mode now it's on like a safety lock I can't get it out of the safety Lock it's error number six I have proof of all this and I just want to know how much can deduct for this, and he he listed the return as an inad as displaying error codes and in the chats we had. He admits that this has happened to every camera he sticks these batteries on and he also admits to having the batteries on and the AC cord and at the same time which is specifically says not to do in the manual also you're not supposed to use aftermarket batteries that aren't chipped in this model at this can happen and he did he did it anyway I have a suspicious stealing that he's done this a couple times on eBay cuz he keeps saying it goes to every camera I try it on and he's trying to play his old home movies. I was trying to be helpful and maybe get him out of that safe lock mode but no he just wanted to return it and it wanted all his money back I'm just like I got the cameras back and lo and behold they're not fried but it's going to take me a while to figure this out or I'm going to have to take him to somebody that knows more than me to get them. m out of the safe lock mode. What are my options as far as having to return his money
