ITEMS RECEIVED NOT AS LISTED. MUST PAY FOR RETURN? REALLY?
Summary: verena.ragazza expressed frustration about receiving fake razor blades instead of the advertised brand name on eBay and questioned why they should pay return shipping for a misleading sale. wooden_flower advised using eBay's return process under the 'not as described' reason, indicating the seller should cover return shipping and suggesting steps if the seller fails to respond or provide a return label.
On eBay since 2002. First time addressing this.
I bought some razor blades. Four packs, $34. Expected to receive the specific name brand product listed, pictured, and described. Received look-alikes, copies, ersatz should-work-just-the-same, knock-offs. If I'd seen these in a store, I'D HAVE NEVER, EVER, PURCHASED THEM.
Shipping was free. Seller states buyer pays returns. Return shipping $10 - $15. Near third to half of purchase. Still, not the point . . .
THE SELLER LIED TO ME. Why do I have to pay for his dishonesty? Is there any recourse? Thanks for info.

When an item is not as described, the seller pays the return shipping.
Go to your purchase history - select return this item. Under reasons select does not match the description, and follow the prompts. In the comments enter not the brand advertised.
The seller has 3 business days to send you a return label or a refund. If he doesn't, or says he cannot send a label, go to your case and click 'ask us to step in'.
