Items pops up on checkout after purchasing a similar item
I purchased a pen, went through the process and I was in a hurry, so I didn't notice after I hit submit, another submit screen popped up and I thought I didn't hit it correctly, so I hit submit.
It was for something i never looked at it and it popped up right at the end of the buying process. It says it is cancelled (I have email), but they just let me know that it shipped.
This will cause me to no longer buy on ebay.

·2 years agoThat sounds more like a virus than an eBay operation; however, eBay is always testing new features, and it could be a test of some sort. Was this on the Mobile App or desktop?

·2 years agoCan you capture a screenshot if it happens again?
Sometimes eBay content shifts on my page as it is loading, and if I am impatient and start the click before the page finishes loading, the content shifts suddenly and is different when I finish the click, so my click ends up selecting some other part of the page.
It is also possible that Windows users tend to double-click, and I have found that the second click then selects something that has shifted into place under the position of the initial click. For this to happen in your case, the checkout screen would need to be replaced by a screen (or popup) of similar items, and it would need to load very quickly to get under your cursor. After your first click submits the order, the second half of your double click would select an item on the page that has slipped underneath your cursor.
However, I find it odd that a commitment to purchase would appear after you eBay purchase. It should have been an option to view an item, not a purchase commitment. If you are in a trial, you may see the popup again and should try to get a screenshot. When bizarre issues like the arise in tests, there is usually a "tell us what you think" link where you can report the failure of the test.
