Items not showing at all when I search

I have an eBay account. My gf has an eBay account. Neither of us have blocked anybody. When we both search for the EXACT same thing there are items that show up on hers but not on mine. How is this possible?

There are many factors that can affect a search aside from the actual keywords used.

Assuming you are using the same location to calculate shipping estimates, most common search discrepancies involve things like using a different default sort order.

If you are using "Price plus shipping: lowest first" this can cause your results to be filtered, showing you fewer results than other sort orders. Using "Best Match" may have the opposite effect, showing additional results not seen in other sorts.

If you are both using the same sort order, look for other minor differences in the search itself, like whether you are using a "default" item location filter option, or a "worldwide" filter option, using different keyword order, different keyword spelling, or putting one of your search terms in quotes.
