Item wasn't verified through eBay and it's being returned
I sold an item and it's being returned because it wasn't verified. What does that mean?

eBay has some items sent to be authenticated before they reach the buyer.
Authentication checks to see if it's a real item, but also, they make sure the condition matches what the listing says. (example if there is too much wear on the soles, etc)
It sounds like it is being returned and you will need to refund.
Depending on the reason, you may be able to relist

OP5 months agoIt says it didn't pass inspection. I don't believe this item is a counterfeit but I also don't know how they would know it or how I would. I'm not trying to scam anyone here. I'm just trying to make a sell in good faith.
