Item was sold by EBay while the auction is still running for another three days.
This morning I got notice that an item was sold and I printed the shipping label. Ebay always marks the item shipped as soon as i print the label. Upon checking I saw that the item is still an active auction for another three days and can't be soldl yet. I think the buyer was trying to retract her bid but possibly accidently tried to cancel the purchase. Since I had printed the shipping label Ebay told her she had to pay now since the item had been shipped but it hadn't. Now she has been made to pay for the item when the auction isn't even over. Has anyone had this happen and how can it be fixed?

Your auction ran for 7 full days. It started on the 9th and ended on the 16th at the correct time.
I think you accidentally listed your auction twice. The one that ended sold for $31. The second one is active with 3 days to go. If you do not have 2 lots to sell, you need to cancel the active auction before someone bids on it. If you have to cancel it after someone bids, you will be charged the selling fee as if it sold again.
