item was shipped from different address than represented by seller
What does eBay have to say about a seller who represents an item as being located in a certain place, but does not actually have the item to ship from that place. Instead, another entity which does have the item ships the item from a different city and state, one in which I live and could have asked to drive to in order to pick up the item and also negotiated a lower total price.

Mentor2 years agoYou can't assume a seller will accommodate a pickup or negotiate a better price just because you live nearby.
However, eBay sellers are not allow to dropship from third party retailers nor are they allowed to misrepresent the item location. If that's what your seller is doing, you can report the seller for the violation(s) here:
