Item that was not delivered but eBay will not cover
I ordered an item and received a track8ng number. According to the tracking number the item arrived on Friday, November 3rd. Unfortunately, the item did not actually arrive. I contacted the selle4 but they just said they shipped with a tracking number. eBay accepted that also and refuses to make it good.
The post office tells me the tracking number in question was not destined for my home, and was in fact delivered somewhere else. Further, the the post office rep told me the item associated with that tracking number was a padded envelope weighing 1.1 pounds. The item I ordered should have weighed nearly 20 pounds.
Even beyond that, the tracking number says the package was delivered at 3:01 pm. My security camera reveals my mail was delivered at 2:36 pm that day, and no large package was delivered.
How can I speak to an actual person about this?

·2 years agoGet a letter from USPS stating that information, then use the letter to appeal the case.
