item taken off ebay
I listed an old vintage trap. Not even sure what type it is. I looked first and saw many other animal traps listed, and went ahead. Now eBay has taken the listing down, which is fine if it violates policy, which they say it does, but there are so many still listed. Why was mine taken off, and is there no way I can even see my listing to see if I said something wrong or get in touch with eBay about this? I just got their darn automatic thing, and it won't let me talk to a real person. This, plus, it appears the only way anything is actually going to sell now is if I pay eBay to show the listing. I am about ready to just say I am done with them

Mentor8 months ago@sflem1 The other items may not have been caught YET. The sale of the traps may even be canceled by eBay after the sale was made.
This is the animal traps policy> https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/prohibited-restricted-items/animal-traps-policy?id=5040&st=3
When a listing is removed it is best to NOT try and get the ok to relist. The reason is that the agents can not reset the bots and the item is just removed again. If the item is removed a second time then your account can be suspended.
Research what the trap is for EXACTLY then you can try selling it elsewhere.

OP8 months agothanks! I don't actually want to relist it since it is not on their approved list, but there are a lot of them listed. I think I am just about done with eBay. I used to have no issues at all, and now no one even sees my listings.
