Item stopped working in less than 30 days
I purchased a trimmer from a seller - it worked twice, but it won't charge. It's a Braun adjustable trimmer. I created a case to return the item, but the seller cancelled it. It seems it can't be returned. It's been less than 30 days since I've used the item, and it stopped working. I've reached out to the seller, and they haven't responded.
I tried to appeal it, but eBay says it can't be appealed. I've also tried to call eBay, and their AI assistant will not let me speak to an agent.
Is there anything I can do, or take the loss of $30+
I'm a bit upset as stuff like this seems to be happening often on eBay, such as another order came to me but smelt like cigarette smoke and had dry tobacco pieces in it - mind you, this was an air filter, and the seller refused to take it back for a refund.

OP8 months agoI mentioned that I used the trimmer twice, and now it won't charge anymore. Even took a picture of the charger with the light on while trying to charge the trimmer and added it to the request for it to be returned. The seller cancelled the request. I tried to call eBay, and the automated system said that the case is closed and hung up on me.

Mentor8 months agoI asked you specifically as to what specific reason did you choose when you filed the Return Request?
Also, did you file the case within 30 days from date of delivery, not from date you used the item?

Mentor8 months agoSomething is not right. If you specified a valid reason for the return per the Ebay Money Back Guarantee, the seller would be required to approve the return.
