Item stopped showing up internationally
I've been selling my homemade item for years from U.S. on eBay, and it's particularly popular in Europe, so I enrolled in eBay's International Shipping program. I sold one to someone in France as recently as April.
Recently I had a potential UK customer asking questions about it, and I suddenly realized that it has stopped showing up anywhere but the U.S.
This customer is ready to buy, but they can't because it is not showing up in the ebay.co.uk site, and when they tried to buy it from ebay.com they were told "This seller doesn't sell to the UK."
I went to my shipping preferences, and it showed that I was indeed still enrolled in the international shipping program. I clicked to "opt out" just so I could re-enroll and hopefully it would reset. Now I am having to wait 24 hours to see if it worked.
I would contact eBay, because something went wrong somewhere, but I can't get a real person when something actually goes wrong. (Okay, I admit, it could be user error! But it was working until recently.)

OP1 year agoI found out that it is eBay's policy, for some reason, to exclude the UK from their international shipping program. This is frustrating, but it is their policy.
