Item stolen from front porch! Plz help!
I ordered/paid for an item, which was left in front of my folks house but was stolen. What options does one have when this type of situation occurs?!!! Royally sucks iwrote the seller and ebay detailing the issue asking them to help contact the delivery company and see if perhaps insurance can be filed. Its nothing crazy expensive its a shampoo bottle. Shall i make a police report?

Once an item is delivered the seller's responsibility ends and it becomes the buyer's issue. Neither eBay nor the shipper can help if the item was delivered to the correct address and subsequently taken. It is the buyer's responsibility to provide a safe location for items to be shipped to.
If your folks have homeowner's insurance, that may cover some losses due to theft.
