Item sold twice

Something went wrong. I sold and shipped my single item several days ago. Iâ€™ve already received partial payment for it. Now it seems they have been sold again. I contacted the second buyer ,told about the situation. I sent a message to eBay, but Iâ€™m not confident that the message will be seen by the proper eyes. What is my responsibility in this matter? Iâ€™m a new seller and Iâ€™ve not come across this before.

You had the item listed twice, with different descriptions.

You will need to cancel the second sale/transaction due to "out of stock".

In Seller Hub, go to Orders
Find the order you want to cancel, and from More actions, select Cancel order.
Choose a reason for the cancellation and then select Submit to finish.

You will receive a defect from Ebay for cancelling the transaction.
