Item sold for more than expected to a buyer with no history - is this a scam?

This is my first time selling an item on eBay - I put a 3 year old laptop up for auction. I set a starting bid, as well as a "buy-it-now" price and set it to run for 7 days. I had some activity during the week, but not much. I was happy with the bids as they were close to what I was expecting. Do not reply to the buyer if s/he wants you text, call, or supply your Paypal email address.  Those are red flags for a possible scam.  If the buyer pays, only send to the SHIP TO address attached to the payment, with Signature Required.  Insurance highly suggested. If the buyer has not paid by day 4, on day 5 the seller can file a Cancellation with the reason Buyer didn't pay.
