Item sold for lower than listed price
Item was listed at a certain price without BEST OFFER option and sold at a lower price. I called eBay and the agent told me that under eBay (new ??) policy if item is not sold for 90 days, price is automatically reduced and sent to "watcher" and "viewers" ??? I have never heard this, and I have been dealing with eBay for 24 years... If that is the case, why sellers were not notified ?

OP11 months agoThe same happened to me again - and again, those items DID NOT have "best offer" option. I spoke to eBay Leadership team member. She did not know what has happened but promised to investigate and refund me the difference in price. I advise everybody to check "sold vs listed" price for all your items.

It sounds to me like it has automatic offers on it.
You can find the listings with Automatic offers on here
https://www.ebay.com/sh/mktv2/offers
Click the boxes beside the offers you want to end
Click End in the upper right (it appears after you have selected one or more listings)
Check any future offers you send to confirm the switch is OFF as shown here:
Once you have de-selected sending offer automatically a few times, it will "stick" and work on the offers sent by phone app too.

OP1 year agoYes, I am aware of this feature. However, my sold item did not even have a "best offer" option ON
