item sold but Item not found
I received an email from ebay that I 'sold' a listed item. When I clicked (Check order status) I got an error msg, 'try again later'. Ebay sent another email indicating that the item has been paid for. When I clicked on (Get shipping label), msg was "item can't be found' . This is the 2nd time this has happened in the last couple of months and it's really frustrating. ebay stresses that you don't ship until you see the money in your account, in this case msg states " money on hold till 8/31. Pretty fishy! Help

No, you ship when ebay says it is ready to ship. Depending on your bank, it can take 2-5 days for the payment to show in your account.
Thursday is the day ebay does its maintenance on the system, so different parts of ebay goes wonky at different times. Try accessing that area again later.
