I sold an item and was shipped by a seller I purchased the item from and I can’t enter tracking number because it was used by the person I purchased the item from

eBay doesn't want reused tracking numbers because it is a sign of against policy drop shipping.

Drop shipping, where you fulfill orders directly from a wholesale supplier, is allowed on eBay.

However, listing an item on eBay and then purchasing the item from another retailer or marketplace that ships directly to your customer is NOT allowed on eBay.

You should mark the item as shipped from the drop-down list to the right, here:
https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold

It won't have tracking, but you will get paid after 30 days
