Mentor9 months agoIf the buyer filed a Refund Request due to Item Not Received, you will need to respond to the request with the tracking # and tracking information that proves delivery.

Mentor9 months ago@kj1556. EBay standard envelope shipping tracking is only scanned by the sorting equipment. This means that the tracking is scanned as delivered a few days or so before it is actually delivered. Ask the buyer to give it a few days.
If the buyer files a refund request for item not received be sure to respond in the case with the tracking that shows delivery.
The insurance won't pay for a not received refund request since tracking shows delivery.
Ebay won't require you to refund an item not received case when tracking shows delivery. Just make sure that you upload the tracking number into the case .
Here's more general info on the ESE shipping :
eBay Standard Envelope is a Metered Mail shipping method and the tracking can only be read by the sorting equipment. You can't look it up on the USPS site like regular tracking you have to use this tracking tool> https://www.trackmyshipment.co/
If a buyer files a not received refund request then you can file an insurance claim to get your money back. See this link>

For future shipments I recommend dropping your envelopes in the metered mail box at your post office.
You can also review this post by a fellow Mentor that has screenshots of proper packing as the envelope must remain flexible enough to easily bend around standard coffee mug to be read by the sorting equipment. The example is for coins but the same rule applies for post cards and trading cards. A high volume card seller said that he uses a few sheets of standard printer paper around the card to protect it.
