item showed up empty
I purchased an item in January for my nephews birthday which happened to be in April. He opened an empty box. Now, since I'm past the three month mark the seller is not allowing refunds for an empty box.
The seller stated I "should have opened it when i got it".
Not sure how many of you open "NEW" gifts for your relatives but I never have. I have never had such an issue with an EBAY seller and they are not being helpful at all. Getting a hold of customer service is rather painful.
want to know the best and quickest way to go through this process. I have all of the messages from the seller basically telling me its my fault for waiting so long.

Mentor4 months agoYour only option now is to take it up with your payment source. If you used a credit card or Paypal you may be able to contact them.
It is important to check the item as soon as you receive it as you only have 30 days from the date of receipt to file a money back guarantee claim with eBay.

Mentor4 months agoThere is no process on eBay any longer. eBay says you have a 30 day money back guarantee.
You can try going through your payment source.
