Item sent to wrong buyer
I purchased a bid item. It was sent to the wrong buyer. I received the other buyer's item. I was asked to send the item I received to the other buyer. I sent it. I never received my item. I was given a full refund by the seller, but I paid to ship the wrong item to the correct buyer. Now the seller won't respond to me at all. I'm out almost $20 and I received nothing. The other buyer (I'm assuming was also given a full refund) has both items and is out nothing. I can't complain to Ebay because I was given a refund and the "case" is closed. Any ideas of anything I can do?

Mentor2 years agoThis is something no seller or buyer should do. All wrong items should be returned to the seller at the seller's expense. Some sellers will provide prepaid labels for a buyer to ship to the other buyer, but this has risk to seller only.
Since you voluntarily paid to ship the item, nothing ebay can do. It is between you and the seller to work out. Did seller ask you do to this at your expense? Did seller say they'd pay you back?
