Item “Seized by US Customs“
Summary: hittman_1 experienced issues with a 3D printer circuit board from China, which was held and then seized by US Customs. The seller offered a replacement, but it was not suitable. wooden_flower suggested that since it's too late for an eBay claim, hittman_1 should contact their credit card issuer to open a dispute for the item not received.
I ordered a 3d printer circuit board—from china—and it was shipped June 19. On July 26th, it went into a “Hold by US Customs” status. I contacted the seller and they said that if it didn’t clear customs in 7 days they would issue a refund. Neither of us could figure out how to get a refund pushed through. They offered to send me another item of equal value, but they don’t have any other items that would be useful to me. I just checked the tracking on my item and now it shows a status of “Seized by US Customs.” How do I go about getting a refund at this point?
Regards,
Josh

It is too late for eBay to help - you must file a claim within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.
Call your credit card issuer and see if they can open a dispute for an item not received.
