Item Returned with Bad Address
I sold and shipped an item to a buyer at the address listed on ebay. The USPS has returned it with a note that says there is no such street/address to deliver the item to. I've messaged the buyer, but no reply yet. Question: If they want to complete the sale, how do I go about charging them for shipping again (I don't see a link to send and invoice on this completed sale at this point in time)? I know I can cancel and relist, but I'm looking for options should the buyer want to handle things differently. TIA

Mentor8 months agoIt is best to Cancel and refund for Problem with buyer's address. You can refund for item price only. Then relist the item, the buyer repurchases and this time, makes sure the SHIP TO address is correct. If you or the buyer doesn't want to do this, the buyer can send you his/her Paypal email address and you can send a Paypal invoice. Once the buyer repays for shipping, you can use Paypal to print the shipping label.

First, the Buyer lost their eBay Money Back Guarantee when the package was returned to you. You can refund the item price but not the shipping they paid, that money was spent on the roundtrip shipment.
You can then Relist the item and if the Buyer wants to correct their address they can buy it again.
You can also just add them to your Blocked list on this page after refunding and move on: Buyer management | eBay
