item returned to sender/seller due to bad address
An item I sold was returned due to a "vacated - dead mail" address. The buyer alerted me to the problem as soon as they noticed it and I received a message that they are still interested in the item. Payment from eBay was already made to me. Not sure how refunds and shipping would work in this situation.
I've dealt with a couple of refunds when a buyer requests, but really not sure how to handle this one.
Has anyone worked through this issue?
Thanks

Mentor6 months agoIf the buyer still wants the item, you would send them an invoice through PayPal for shipping, and then ship it again after they have provided the correct address. If they don't want it, refund them less shipping. Have them change their address here https://accountsettings.ebay.com/uas/addresses (there are multiple places to change it here)
