Item returned to seller not the same
I sold an gold bar and sent package to customer customer said before he received the item that he meant to purchase a smaller bar but package was already sent once buyer received the package he opened it said it wasn't what I had in description and demanded refund I accepted his return and waited for item to get back to me. Once I received it it was not in original package, wasn't the same item that was in package I sent and buyer demanded refund, I called Ebay and was told there was an issue on there end as to why my refund hadn't gone thru, in this time im trying to find out why the refund hadn't been sent or how to at least be able to only send a partial refund the buyer opened a case saying I refused to send refund which was never the case. I was able to finally get ahold of Ebay customer service and was able to get the buyer a refund but when I brought up the fact that he sent a different item back and kept the original I was told I cant do anything about that. What can I do cause now im out my initial investment of $1800 and the buyer received $4200 which he paid me for then took the item and sent back different bar
