Hi, I made a purchase last month and forgot to include the street number. The item was returned to the seller, and I requested a refund, but eBay released the funds to the seller; now I have neither the item nor the money. I filed a dispute, but eBay still sided with the seller, even though I provided proof of delivery from USPS. Now eBay isn't answering my emails; I’ve called and tried everything, yet I still haven't received a response. I’m left without the money and without the jacket. Has anyone else been through this or know a way to help me?

So basically, I lost the money and the jacket I bought—is that what you're telling me? It's upsetting; the seller won't even answer messages, and eBay isn't replying to emails.

Yes, this what I am saying, you lost the money and the item. You purchased from a dishonest Seller too which is really sad.

Once you start a dispute with your Funding source eBay washes their hands of supporting you as the Buyer. The eBay Money Back Guarantee does not cover undeliverable packages that are returned to the Sender.

Really sorry you forgot the street address. What we advise Sellers when this happens and they ask about it here is to refund the item price but not the paid shipping because that money was spent on the round trip the package took. They can Relist the item and the Buyer can correct their address and purchase it again if they like. Some Sellers will just keep the money and add the Buyer to their Blocked list.
