Item returned through USPS
I sold some books and was paid promptly and I ship them media mail. I received a notice on Friday that the address was vacant and they were sent back to my post office. Because they were ship media mail I had to pay the $5.61 to get it back from my post office. Media Mail is only one way delivery. I contacted the buyer and she said that was weird that it wasn't delivered but wants me to ship to another address. I don't really feel comfortable doing that if it's not the address eBay has on file. I was going to suggest to her that I would refund her money and she could adjust her address and repurchase it. However, do I need to refund The postage that she paid the first time or just the price of the item? If I reimburse her the postage from sending it to her and what I had to pay today to get the item back, it's more than what I sold it for in the beginning. I just want to make sure that I'm abiding by what the rules are.
Thank you for your help!
