Item returned for insufficient postage
Hi, I had a customer purchase two items from me. The customer was responsible for paying the shipping cost. I printed the label that I purchased from Ebay and my postal carrier picked the package up the following day. A tracking number was issued and everything appeared to be going smoothly. Upon checking the tracking it showed the package leaving KY and traveling all the way down to FL where the customer lives. I then received an email from the customer stating the package never arrived and neither of us could find the missing package, we made several calls to various post offices looking for the package. Just as I was about to call Ebay customer service a postal worker from our local post office pulled in my driveway and dropped the missing package off on my porch. The package looks like it's been thru hell and back again, and appears as tho it may be broken. My question is....what do I do next? The shipping cost is well over $100 & I don't have the money to purchase another label.
