Item returned by post office - buyer refused delivery 5 times
Please help.
We shipped an item on October 30th and it was returned to us yesterday by the USPS. The tracking number shows the buyer refused delivery or rescheduled delivery 7 times and was notified by USPS that it was the last attempt then the item would be returned to sender. That's exactly what happened.
The buyer has contacted us and stated they want the package and will pay us shipping for it.
How would that work? What are my rights as a seller? We've paid the shipping only to have it returned.
Please help Community.
Thank you, all. LCC

Mentor2 years agoIf you and the buyer have PayPal accounts you can send the buyer an invoice through PayPal for the rehipping cost. You'll need the buyer's PayPal email address to do so.
You aren't losing anything (you're saving a sale). The buyer paid for the shipping the first time and will be paying again for the reshipping.
Once the buyer pays, you can use the Purchase another label option found in the dropdown next to the order transaction.
