Item returned but no refund has been issued!
Item returned but no refund has been issued!
I have returned an item which the seller has acknowledged receiving but despite that ebay has closed the return without a refund! The seller also refers to an unknown "ebay refund" process which i do not believe exists.
I can't get to chat with an actual ebay customer support agent because the automated assistant won't let me through. Has anyone experienced the same and perhaps has a solution?

Mentor11 months agoIf you filed a "not as described" return and returned the item using the label provided by eBay, you should have been able to ask eBay to step in and force a refund if the seller did not refund you voluntarily within three business days since the tracking showed delivery back to the seller.
Unfortunately, after twenty-one business days, if you do not ask eBay to step in, eBay will close the case without a refund.
You may still have recourse through your payment method. Many credit cards offer some protection for items that are not as described for up to six months from the date of purchase.
