Item Received Back I Says Return to Sender, No Forwarding Address, Unclaimed
I sold an item on July 4 and mailed it on July 5, using the address and name that was provided at that time. Yesterday, August 7, I received the box back from the Post Office saying it was unclaimed, return to sender, no forwarding address. I received payment last month, but don't know what to do about this. I sent her a message via Ebay yesterday to tell her it was returned to me, but I haven't received a response yet. She's never contacted me to say she was returning it, changed her mind, moved....nothing. Now what happens? Do I wait for a response to my message for a certain amount of time? Do I refund the cost of the item? If so, I think it should be just the cost of the item and not shipping also, as I did my part and mailed it out timely. I didn't see anything online that seemed to help with a solution to this problem. Thanks.

Mentor2 years agoYou refund the cost of the item and send a message to the buyer to let her know that the package was returned due to the reasons stated in the tracking information.
