What exactly does the message you saw say?
If you did not get a message saying the transaction was canceled then the seller may have listed another of the same item. If you bought from an actual auction that you had to bid on, the starting bid price may be lower than what you paid when you won the auction.
If you made an offer for the item, and had it accepted, That is a Buy It Now type listing that has the Best Offer feature. A seller who might have more than one of the item you bought, might lower the price if they were not getting any sales or offers with the original higher price.
The only way we can tell what has happened would be for you to post the item number for the item you won. You can find it in the Order details under the item title. It is 12 digits long and does not have hyphens in it.
