Item purchased as guest. I was charged and it's been a week with no updates.
I ordered an item from a seller 1 week ago exactly. I received a confirmation email that my credit card was charged and I have heard nothing at all. Since I ordered the item as a guest, it isn't in my purchase history. I tried contacting the seller and I've heard nothing. I also attempted to contact ebay but it looks like my only option was to request tracking info. Can anyone offer me some suggestions? This is an item I really need but I also don't want to wait to long to take action if I need to and I'm just not sure what to do...

If you made the purchase using a guest account ( not logged in to your eBay account) it will not be in your purchase history.
Log out of your eBay account and request the guest account details from this page:
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/returning-item/returning-items-bought-guest?id=4065&st=
Then you can start a refund request, track your order, or contact the seller, from the guest account email. Do not log in to your regular eBay account.

If you are located outside of US or Canada then you will need to use the Chat option or Social Media
3. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a PRIVATE message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible.

OP1 year agoThank you for your quick reply. The link you gave to request a call back only redirects me to register. I did, however, send a private message on social media so I'm hopeful my call will be returned. Thank you so much!

Mentor1 year agoYou just needed to go to the guest account policy page and request the guest email to be sent again. Then you track the transaction from the guest account.
You must log out of your eBay account to access the guest account. Guest account purchases can't be merged with a regular eBay account.
