Item purchased almost a week ago, shipping from China, no tracking info, no response from seller
On New Years Eve, I purchased a set of speakers made by Sony at a significantly lower price than MSRP. The tracking that should be provided is via eBay SpeedPAK Standard, however, no tracking has been provided as of yet. I sent a private message to the seller asking for tracking information and have not received a response, nor has any tracking information since been added.
The expected delivery date originally stated January 9th-22nd and still states as such on the order details page, the auction page continues to push the date forward every day, currently showing Jan 13-26th.
I have a feeling this is some sort of scam, however, Ebay makes it virtually impossible to contact anyone about anything fishy like this, I think it might be the last time I make a purchase through Ebay that is of any significant value for this very reason. The purchase was made through Ebay & Paypal, so it does have the usual protections, I just have a feeling I am never going to receive said item and this time will continue to push forward until I am unable to get any sort of refund (cutoff is Feb 21rst to ask for a refund). This seller sold three of this exact item, so myself and two others got what looks like to be duped on this and if I was able to contact someone to look into this and head this off right now, attempt to resolve this issue by at least either obtaining tracking information or issuing full refunds and terminating this sellers account, I dont know how to proceed at the moment.

This does sound like a potential problematic purchase. You'll need to follow the process to get your refund.
eBay's Money Back Guarantee should apply: https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/-/ebay-money-back-guarantee-policy?id=4210
Here is how to formally request a refund of your full payment:
1) Look at your purchase history here: https://www.ebay.com/mye/myebay/purchase
- View Order Details
- Check the Estimated Delivery Date for your purchase, and
- Check the tracking for your purchase
When it is past the estimated delivery date (and there is no tracking, or the tracking doesn’t show that is close to delivery):
2) Open an "Item Not Received Case". You can do that right here by clicking on the photo of your item and following the steps: https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/-/reporting-item-didnt-receive?id=4042
(If it is not yet time for a case to be opened, it will give you the exact date after you click the photo.)
You will be able to select whether you want the Item or a Refund
-- You have 30 days from the estimated delivery date to open a case)
3) You can check the status of your case here:
https://www.ebay.com/help/ip?topicId=4667
The seller must respond within 3 business days to provide a delivery update, offer a replacement, or give you a refund.
Sometimes a deal that's too good to be true, is just that.
