Item pulled after I bid on it

Question

I bid on an item at 6am yesterday morning. I hadn't heard if my bid had been accepted. When I went into the item, it stated that the item had been pulled because it "was lost or broke" Why wasn't I ever notified?

It sound like you made an offer on an item, rather than an auction bid, which is instant and does not need to be accepted.

Sellers can remove an item at any time before purchase. You would only be notified if you are the current high bidder on the item in the auction format.
