Item payout
i am missing payout for an item that I sold on July 17. I have tried everything that I see to report this to EBay. Any suggestions? I have reported it, chatted online, and called a phone number which is automated. I never received a message from EBay stating payout and it is not on hold…

Go to your payment account - https://www.ebay.com/mes/summary
Find a point where you are comfortable with the balance, then work forward to the payment that seems to be missing, and subsequent payments and charges. You can see any payouts and your pending funds.
Usually when a payment seems missing, it has been used to pay for shipping for subsequent sales. Shipping is always paid from available funds, not from the specific sale it applies to.
If there is a payout not posted to your bank, click on it to find the reference number. You can then call your bank and ask them to trace that deposit.

OP2 weeks agoThank you for the response. I have checked all that you suggested and it looks like I never got a payout. The shipping for the particular item came from the funds of the sale and it stops there…no payout mentioned. I have since had 2 other sales with completed status including payout.

Mentor2 weeks ago · Edited@valsvintagefinds The length of time for fund holds for new sellers can vary and be up to 31 days. Some items may be paid out quicker and then you experience a longer hold.
Here's how to Contact Customer service
Click this link> https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold?id=4814
Then Type PAYOUT in the chat bot box on the lower right. (Do not add any additional information)
Then AGENT after the bot responds. You might have to repeat those steps.
