Item not shipped, eBay tells me I canâ€™t cancel

Question

Purchased August 24th, 2025, never shipped. I reached out to seller, no response. I couldnâ€™t cancel order until September 5th. I sent a request to eBay to cancel, they tell me 9/8/25 that I have to wait until September 4th???? lmao. I sent another message to seller. And another request to eBay to cancel. How tf do I talk to a real person about this or appeal their decision. I donâ€™t want to dispute this because I want to be able to use eBay again.

Sellers are not required to mark their sold items as shipped, nor required to use tracking.

What is the estimated date of delivery as shown in the Order Details in your Purchase History?

IF/WHEN the latest estimated date of delivery has already passed by at least 1 day, you have up to 30 days past estimated date of delivery to file a Refund Request:

Go to your My Ebay page >> Purchase history

Select â€œMore actionsâ€ beside your item and then â€œI didn't receive it.â€
Click the box beside I want a refund.
Select Send request.

If the seller does not respond after 3 business days, you can ask Ebay to step in to help you.

Find the item in your Purchase History
Select See request details
Select â€œAsk eBay to step in.â€
