Item not shipped and seller not responding
Hey folks,
I pre-ordered an item in April that released on 05/16. The seller has not shipped the product and not responding to any reach outs. Im now being told by ebay this isn't supported by the money back guarantee because the expected delivery date was 38 days ago, even though the product description clearly states shipping on 05/16. Ebay customer service is a joke so not sure what I do at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mentor1 year agoYou have a combination of problems. Pre-sale items must be shipped within 40 days of the listing. However, the seller did not adjust the handling time to allow for this so the time for help from eBay expired. The seller is totally to blame for this but eBay cannot help since the seller did not follow the rules for pre-sales.
You can go to your payment source and ask for a charge back. This will cost the seller $20 for eBay to handle the charge back and you will win since your payment source will make the decision and not eBay and your payment source will protect their customer.
