Item not repaired.
Told that I negated the warranty by opening the top lid of Blu-ray recorder. I didn't. Fault occurred on 2nd item same as the first. Being accused of negating the warranty is offensive. Would prefer to conclude this amicably but now I believe the only option is to ask for a refund with eBay becoming involved. £425 is what I paid for the item.
