Item not received, listing no longer available
I ordered an item and paid for it over two weeks ago. I got a notice with a tracking number but the post office shows that they still have not received the item to ship. The listing is no longer available. I tried to contact the seller but there is no contact information. The eBay AI assistant keeps me in a constant loop and never gets any progress. How do I get my money back?

Mentor1 week agoGo to your Purchase History and click on Order Details next to the item title to see if the latest estimated date of delivery has already passed.
IF/WHEN the latest estimated date of delivery has already passed by at least 1 day, you have up to 30 days past estimated date of delivery to file a Refund Request:
Go to your My Ebay page >> Purchase history
· Select “More actions” beside your item and then “I didn't receive it.”
· Click the box beside I want a refund.
· Select Send request.
If the seller does not respond to the refund request, after 3 business days you can ask Ebay to step in to help you.
· Find the item in your Purchase History
· Select See request details
· Select “Ask eBay to step in.”

OP1 week agoThat would be great except eBay cannot find the listing. As close as I can get to it is a screenshot of the original listing that I received in an email.

Mentor1 week agoIf the item is not showing in your Purchase History, could you have purchased it as a guest?

OP1 week agoYes I did purchase it as a guest but the point is that even if I click on the link in the email to show the listing it comes up as they cannot find it at all.

Mentor1 week agoI was able to find the listing since you posted the details above.
Purchases made as a guest are handled differently from purchases made by an Ebay account.
You must SIGN OUT of your Ebay account, then look for the order confirmation email that Ebay sent you.
Select View order details in the body of the email.
Select Contact seller.
Select I haven't received my item yet.
Choose No, I want to contact the seller.
Fill in the details and then hit Submit.
The seller should respond within 3 business days. If they do not respond, you can ask Ebay to step in to help you:
From your order confirmation email, go to View order details, then select Resolutions
OR
From the email you received when you opened the request, go to See request details
From the request details, simply select Ask eBay to step in and help.
