Item not received
I sent a small parcel to someone on 27 February and it is only today I have heard from the buyer to say they have not received the item. About 6 weeks has passed and of course I don't have the proof of postage and I honestly sent it. I do feel this is very odd that it has taken so long for the buyer to contact me. I had no idea the item has obviously been lost in transit or and I hate to say it the seller has it but wants his money as well! What would you do in this instance please? Thanks!

Using a tracked service is your only protection about a Buyer's claim that they did not receive their package. They have 30 days from the latest estimated delivery to file a claim through eBay and you would have 4 days to refund them on the claim.
If you have no proof that you shipped it via a tracking number on the sold file you will be out the item and out the money.

OP2 years agoYes I didn't put the tracking details on the item once dispatched and actually never do! I have learnt my lesson!! Thank you for your response. Regards.
