Item not available
I had a listing that was purchased. The problem is that the item is no longer available. My funds are on hold. I have contacted the buyer and told them the item is no longer available. Can I just delete the item? I tried to contact eBay customer service, but that is like a “circus.†Can anyone help.?

Mentor2 years agoYou need to cancel the transaction using the reason that the item is out of stock. That will refund the buyer. You'll find the option next to the transaction in your Orders List.
You'll earn a defect on your account for selling an item you didn't have. Be sure that you keep up with your listings so this doesn't happen again.
